Install

npx shadcn@latest add button

Exact init flow is on the Get Started docs. Do not assume a locked CLI version without checking the site.

Gotchas

Copied files do not auto-update when upstream changes. Theme tokens live in your CSS variables. For composed product widgets (kanban, gantt), see ReUI. For “should this even move,” see you don’t need animations.
