Rare UI

Free open-source animated React components installed with the shadcn CLI. Distinctive pieces (fluid orb, gravity letters, duration picker). Not a full design system.

## what it does

tl;dr: rareui.com is a small set of standout animated components, not a replacement for shadcn/ui.

Install (from the homepage)

npx shadcn@latest add swamimalode07/rare-ui/fluid-orb

Examples named on fetch: folder, duration picker, fluid orb, gravity letters, OTP input.

Gotchas

Use after you don’t need animations. Decorative orbs do not belong on a settings form.

## compatibility

cursor ?
claude-code ?

## stack
